Wild About Our Reserves Appeal - Cloud Wood
£3,000 will enable us to secure the future of the woodland at Cloud Wood.

Cloud Wood has long been known as one of the best sites in Leicestershire for flora, and welcomes many visitors throughout the year. However, much of the Ash, which makes up a large portion of the trees at the Wood, has succumbed to dieback.

We are looking to remove a proportion of this, which would leave the area free for replanting. It is essential that these be replaced with native species, such as Elm, Lime and Oak, to secure the future of the woodland here, to be enjoyed for years to come.
