Summary: Wild Walk: Night Safari at Charnwood Lodge
Join us for an evening of bats, glow-worms and moths. Charnwood Lodge is an important nature reserve for bats with ten different species recorded. Please meet at the ‘Bomb’ rocks for an introductory talk on bats, with a trip down to the stables and walk around the woods. This will be followed by a search for glow-worms and an opportunity to learn more about moth trapping. NB The ground is uneven and can be wet in places, please dress appropriately and bring a torch.
Saturday 29th June 9:00 - 11:00 There is also an option to return the next morning and discover which moth species have been caught overnight.
