Wildlife Watch Award Challenges
🦔Take Part in Monthly Challenges!🦅
The Wildlife Watch awards are for children aged 5 – 12 years old. There are three awards: Hedgehog, Kestrel and Nature Ranger.
See below for how to take part and the monthly award challenges and the monthly prize draw.
Hedgehog Award Challenge 5 – 8 year olds
You can take part by attending Wildlife Watch groups and events or by completing the monthly challenges.
Complete a challenge each month and send a photo of the completed activity and a description of the activity to Rachel ww@lrwt.org.uk with your child’s name and age. You will be included in a monthly prize draw for a wildlife-themed prize such as a book, nature discovery equipment or a game.
You will receive a Hedgehog Award certificate once you have sent in 8 activities and/or collected stickers from group meetings/activities There are 3 Hedgehog Award levels to complete.

Kestrel Award Challenge 8+ year olds
You can take part by emailing Rachel ww@lrwt.org.uk to request a Kestrel Award pack.
Complete the challenges in the Kestrel Award card. To get involved, there will be a monthly challenge or a Wildlife Watch group activity to take part in to help you get your award.
When you have completed the Create it, Record it and Do it sections you can then Shout out it! You could also write a blog for this page telling others what you have been up to!
Once completed the award challenges you will receive a certificate and embroidered Kestrel Award badge.
