Schools can Go Wild with the Melton

The Melton Building Society is inviting local primary schools to apply for a share of a special £8,000 Wildlife Fund to provide opportunities for children to learn outside and broaden their knowledge and understanding of the natural world. The programme will be delivered in Spring 2018 by Leicestershire and Rutland Wildlife Trust and schools can choose from:

The Melton is working with the Leicestershire and Rutland Wildlife Trust to raise funds to protect wildlife and encourage enjoyment of the natural world. Supporting wildlife and the Trust ties in with the Society’s community ethos and its commitment to supporting sustainability.

Grants are available for a maximum of £1,000 for primary schools local to the Melton’s branches in Oakham and Melton Mowbray.
