Come and join us at the Lyndon area of Rutland Water Nature Reserve, LE15 8RN, for a fun-filled day for all the family!
Tuesday 2nd August 2016 from 10am – 3pm
Children can be an osprey for the day and migrate through the reserve to Africa (Waderscrape Hide), by undertaking several osprey-related activities on the way.
Activities include making osprey masks and badges, catching fish and feeding chicks!
Special treat! You can even purchase your very own personalised knitted osprey, as Carole Brookes of “Nature Knits” is making a one-off appearance on the day, selling special hand-made toys, puppets, bags, hats, scarves and so much more - not just of ospreys but other wildlife too. These are limited edition, on this day only!
There’s no need to book, just turn up on the day.
Entry is just £10 per family.
