You are invited to the Trust AGM

All members are welcome to attend the AGM of the Leicestershire and Rutland Wildlife Trust, which will be held at 7.30pm on Thursday 19 November at Brocks Hill Visitor Centre, Washbrook Lane, Oadby, LE2 5JJ.

The guest speaker is Andy Clements, who will talk on ‘Wildlife interactions with the landscape – BTO research at global to local scales’.

Andy is a naturalist and ornithologist, and has a science background. Since 2007 he has been the Chief Executive Officer of the British Trust for Ornithology (BTO) and he is also the President of the Norfolk & Norwich Naturalists’ Society, a Trustee of National Biodiversity Network, a member of the Cambridge Conservation Initiative Steering Group, and Board member of Natural England.

Andy has previously worked for the Government’s nature conservation agencies, where he held various senior positions from 1982 until 2006 and helped to establish Natural England.
