Learn from expert David Walker as he sustainably harvests hazel stakes and binders for heritage hedge laying at our following up event on 21 March and explore why woodland coppicing creates opportunities for wildlife with Professor Chris Stoate.
Enjoy sweeping views across High Leicestershire and time to learn and ask questions about coppicing for wildlife.
Chris, an agri-environmental researcher at the nearby Allerton Project for more than thirty years and Honorary Professor at Nottingham University, has also studied farmland ecology in southern Europe and West Africa.
