Events taking place at the Lyndon Nature Reserve

Charnwood Forest Living Landscape, situated to the south of Loughborough, covers 16,000 hectares. Strikingly different to anywhere else in the East Midlands, the Charnwood Forest is defined by craggy hilltops, dry stone walls, fast flowing streams, ancient woodlands and open views.

What's happening at Rutland Water

Twelve Wildlife Trusts located from the Midlands to the East coast of England, aim to make the concept of 'Living Seas' a reality though a project which will promote protection of the North Sea's weird and wonderful marine wildlife, from the smallest plankton to the largest whales.

We have a vision of restoring, recreating and reconnecting fragmented habitats to create a resilient and healthy environment, cherished, accessible and useful for people and wildlife, teeming with nature and rich in opportunities for learning, health and well-being.
