Other opportunities

There are plenty of other opportunities to volunteer with Leicestershire and Rutland Wildlife Trust, including work experience placements, as part of your Duke of Edinburgh, surveying and monitoring, or as a group through your business, to get some much-needed team-building experience. These are all organised through Rutland Water Nature Reserve and the Visitor Training Centre. Find out more below.

There are opportunities at Rutland Water Nature Reserve to undertake activities that will help towards achieving an Award.

We are able to offer a limited number of school work experience placements each year.

Wild Horizons is a society for young people aged 18-30 embarking on a career in wildlife conservation or with a general love of the natural world.
