Members' Day and AGM 2026
Event details
About the event
Members of Leicestershire and Rutland Wildlife Trust are warmly invited to our Members’ Day. This event is especially for members, to update our members about what the Trust is doing for local wildlife with their support. It’s also a great opportunity to meet and chat with other Trust members plus our staff and trustees.
Doors will open at 9.45am for teas and coffees, and a chance to chat informally with Trust staff and trustees. Proceedings will commence at 10.30am.
The event will start with the Trust’s Annual General Meeting. The agenda for the AGM will include the Report of the Council, the Report from the Honorary Treasurer, the election of Trustees, and the re-appointment of the auditors.
During the rest of the morning, members will hear a series of presentations on Local Nature Recovery in a Changing World, exploring our progress so far and our plans for bringing nature back across the two counties, working with communities and supporters to ensure we can speak out boldly for nature.
The presentations will conclude with lunch, which is provided for members. Staff and trustees will be on hand throughout and up until 3pm to chat to members and answer any questions about the Trust and its work.
