Belgrave Neighbourhood Co-Operative Housing Association Community Garden
In 2025, the Leicestershire and Rutland Wildlife Trust delivered a practical gardening workshop to the Belgrave Neighbourhood Co-operative Housing Association (BNCHA). Throughout this workshop the group learnt about the how to plant to increase butterfly populations, basic gardening skills and the principles of planting; from sowing the seed to maintaining and encouraging growth for nature.
Since that inital workshop, a commuity of like-minded, wildlife enthusiasts has bloomed.
It starts with a seed and it grows into a community of people that are passionate about supporting us to have a healthier planet.
