About the event

Learn about how Cossington Meadows Nature Reserves is managed with Chris Hill, our Reserves Officer, who has been managing the reserve since 2002.

Chris will take you on a guided walk around the reserve and point out key the wildlife including wildfowl, butterflies and the beautiful botany that make this one of Leicestershire’s very best wild spots!                                                                                                                                                                                 
As you walk around with Chris, he will talk about the practical conservation skills and tools required including managing a resident herd of cows!

Just one of many events you can join us with to celebrate 70 years of Leicestershire and Rutland Wildlife Trust, in our anniversary year.
