About the event

This May, everyone is welcome to a very special reserve open day at Cossington Meadows! 

With Spring in the air, and Summer to come, join family fun hosted throughout the day; bug hunts, trails, birdsong walks and craft-making, you might even be in with a chance to win a prize at the Tombola! Ran in partnership with the Green Place and Cossiwild Camping, there’ll be tasty treats and refreshments too. 

Expert reserve officers will be on hand to tell you about the reserve’s resident Barn Owls and help you ID magnificent moths! Come see the Wildfowl, the Frogs, the       insects and Butterflies that make this one of Leicestershire’s very best wild spots!
