About the event

Learn about the wild and domesticated fruits growing on the farm. Discover what’s been planted in a wild fruit hedge and how agroforestry integrates fruit and nut trees into the farmed landscape with agri-ecologist Professor Chris Stoate and regenerative farmer Dr Miriam Stoate.

Enjoy sweeping views across High Leicestershire with time to learn and ask questions. Fruit from the farm will be available to buy.

Chris, an agri-environmental researcher at the nearby Allerton Project for more than thirty years and Honorary Professor at Nottingham University, has also studied farmland ecology in southern Europe and West Africa.

Miriam grew up on a farm, researched land management in Thailand, Canada and England and enjoys welcoming groups to the farm.
