Volunteer Hub - Habitat Management Volunteers

Our work parties are usually on a Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 09.30/09.45 - 14.30/15.00 meeting at the designated site. We have a 2 monthly task plan that we send out so you get an idea about whats coming up. We also send a weekly email with the plan for the following week, please reply to this to sign up to a work party of your choosing. 

We ask you to bring sensible clothing (ideally long sleeves and trousers) and sturdy footwear, as well as waterproofs (just in case). Please also bring your own refreshments and your lunch; we provide extra drinking water. 

We provide all of the equipment and tools you need for the task we are carrying out and we also have work gloves available, but if you’d prefer to use your own that’s fine too. 

When attending a work party, please ensure you have your party leaders (Andy, Sophia, Chris or Alex) contact number saved to your phone so that you can easily contact them in case of an emergency.

Our work parties are (generally) on a Monday, Thursday and Friday from 0930/1000 - 1400/1430. We ask you to bring sensible clothing (ideally long sleeves and trousers) and sturdy footwear, as well as waterproofs (just in case). Please also bring your own refreshments and your lunch; we provide biscuits at break (1100) and lunch time (1300) and extra drinking water. We provide all of the equipment and tools you need for the task we are carrying out and we also have work gloves available, but if you’d prefer to use your own that’s fine too. Please remember to bring your emergency contact card to each session.  

We have a car sharing WhatsApp group to enable volunteers to share lifts to work parties where possible. If you would like to be part of this group, please let Juliette know.

Our work parties are on a Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 09.00/09.30 - 15.00/15.30 and one Saturday a month from 10.00 meeting at the Volunteer Training Centre (VTC). We have a rota at the VTC and Saturday work parties are organised via email.
