The Neighbourhood Nook Community Garden
In June 2025, the Trust organised a community engagement Coffee and Chat at the Neighbourhood Nook Allotment site, with the goal of helping to promote the space for future organisations and generations to use.
Following this, Neighbourhood Nook successfully secured Leicestershire Advocacy for Mental Health Project a space for counselling sessions; creating a green space that benefits the environment and well-being.

Green spaces can promote community partnership, creative sessions, restoring wellbeing, nature recovery, happy communities and Action for Hope.
In July 2025, Neighbourhood Nook launched a Community Garden Open Day! The event was intended to develop the garden space into a Climate Hub and a Community Space where people can develop creative and hopeful responses to climate and nature emergencies, and where we can support in taking action to help the planet and peoples wellbeing simultaneously.
Open Days, events and workshops at the Neighbourhood Nook are packed full of activities and learning oppurtunities, including: gardening, nature activities, sowing seeds for butterfly pollination, chats and tours around the site, refreshments and second handbook sales.
