About the role
The role will be instrumental in financial reporting for the Trust and developing our financial reporting capabilities. You will produce regular reports for management information including budgets, forecasts and regular management accounts.
You will be part of a dedicated, hardworking team providing organisational support to deliver our mission – protecting and enhancing local wildlife and wild places across Leicestershire and Rutland.
The role will be based at our head office in Leicester primarily, but due to COVID restrictions will initially involve home working.
Responsibilities will include management accounts reporting and month-end assessments, conducting annual budget processes and forecasting, financial analysis for projects and initiatives, helping to develop management information systems and working with staff from across the Trusts to produce financial information.
Who we are looking for
We are looking for a driven individual who can use initiative and work in a team. You will have experience of finance and management accounting, and developing accounting systems and reports. You will be highly numerate and literate and have the ability to analyse and interpret financial information. You must be at least part-qualified AAT or have equivalent experience.
