About the event

Learn about trees and over wintering birds on the farm. Wrap up warm for a walk of winter discovery and observation with agri-ecologist Professor Chris Stoate and regenerative farmer Dr Miriam Stoate.

Enjoy sweeping views across High Leicestershire with time to learn and ask questions. Holly, ivy and bay leaves from the farm will be available for sale.

Chris, an agri-environmental researcher at the nearby Allerton Project for more than thirty years and Honorary Professor at Nottingham University, has also studied farmland ecology in southern Europe and West Africa. 

Miriam grew up on a farm, researched land management in Thailand, Canada and England and enjoys welcoming groups to the farm.
