About the event

Learn about historical changes on the farm, how they impact wildlife and inform the future. Discover traces of our ancestors and how they managed and related to the landscape with agri-ecologist Professor Chris Stoate and regenerative farmer Dr Miriam Stoate.

Enjoy sweeping views across High Leicestershire with time to learn and ask questions. 

Chris, an agri-environmental researcher at the nearby Allerton Project for more than thirty years and Honorary Professor at Nottingham University, has also studied farmland ecology in southern Europe and West Africa. 

Miriam grew up on a farm, researched land management in Thailand, Canada and England and enjoys welcoming groups to the farm.
