Wild Play, Saving Saffron Brook - Stream Dipping and natural rafts 
Wild Play sessions for children aged 5 - 12 years old.                             
Come and explore the wildlife that lives in the Saffron Brook by stream dipping and make a natural raft to float on the brook.

These sessions are free as part of funded project - Leicester City Council's Saving the Saffron Brook.                              
BOOKING ESSENTIAL - Limited places are being offered to the general public to book.        
         
The sessions are aimed at child 5 - 12 years.
However, younger or older siblings can attend but must be booked. 
(Sibling tickets are limited due to event size.)

1 booked Adult per family (up to 3 children) must supervise throughout session.

All children must be supervised by booked adult - Max 3 children and 1 adult per family.

No dogs permitted
Please NO dogs allowed at our children's events.

Mobility

The site has footpaths suitable for wheelchairs and pushchairs.
Some of the activities are located on grassy areas via muddy paths and in brook.

By car - Park in main car park on Palmerston Way – follow signs in park

By Bus - Buses stop on Welford Road near Palmerston Way junction – pedestrian access from Welford Road opposite Baldwin Drive – follow signs in park

What to bring

- Ensure children and adult are appropriately dressed for the weather as all activities outside.

- Wear/bring hat, sun cream, jumper, waterproof jacket.

- Children and adults must wear shoes/boots suitable for wearing in the Brook e.g. wellies or sandals with full straps - no flipflops.

- Please provide own drinks and snacks.

- Children must be supervised throughout the session by the booked adult.

- Please NO dogs allowed at our children's events.
