About the event

Join us for an evening talk hosted by Leicestershire & Rutland Wildlife Trust

Join LRWT Head of Conservation John Clarkson, as he shares this great story, full of twists and turns and ‘Cleudo-like’ mystery! With ecological murder, serendipity, success and failure. For a short while, John took part in the reintroduction of the large blue butterfly and in this presentation, he will delve into the detective story.

The event will be online via Zoom. We will provide you with all the details you need to log into Zoom and to join the webinar once you have registered.

The webinar will be recorded and made available on YouTube afterwards.

This talk has been organised by our volunteer run Local Groups. Money raised at Local Group events throughout the year supports our work for wildlife, however, with all their events cancelled any donations you can give will make a huge difference to us. If you can, please donate below.

Find out more about our Local Groups

This talk has been organised by one of our volunteer run Local Groups. Our network of Local Groups represent us and the wildlife of Leicestershire and Rutland in their local community. Local Groups organise a wide range of activities throughout the year enabling people to enjoy and find out more about local wildlife and encouraging more support for the Trust. Activities range from guided walks and reserve open days, to slide talks and plant sales.

We have 7 groups across the two counties plus the Leicestershire & Rutland Badger Group. You don't have to be a member to attend - groups are inclusive and open to anyone.
