Online Talk - Tales of Damsels and Dragons (Damselflies & Dragonflies in VC55) with Richard Pegler
About the event
Join us for an evening talk hosted by Leicestershire & Rutland Wildlife Trust
Richard has built up a passionate interest in observing and photographing damselflies and dragonflies over the past six years. This well-illustrated talk is an introduction to these fabulous creatures and discusses their life cycle, where and when to find them, key identification features, etc. He will focus specifically on species found in Leicestershire and Rutland.
The event will be online via Zoom. We will provide you with all the details you need to log into Zoom and to join the webinar once you have registered.
The webinar will be recorded and made available on YouTube afterwards.
This talk has been organised by our volunteer run Local Groups. Money raised at Local Group events throughout the year supports our work for wildlife, however, with all their events cancelled any donations you can give will make a huge difference to us. If you can, please donate below.

Find out more about our Local Groups
This talk has been organised by one of our volunteer-run Local Groups. Our network of Local Groups represent us and the wildlife of Leicestershire and Rutland in their local community. Local Groups organize a wide range of activities throughout the year, enabling people to enjoy and find out more about local wildlife and encouraging more support for the Trust. Activities range from guided walks and reserve open days to slide talks and plant sales.
We have 7 groups across the two counties, plus the Leicestershire & Rutland Badger Group. You don't have to be a member to attend - groups are inclusive and open to anyone.
