About the event

Join us for an evening talk hosted by the Leicestershire & Rutland Badger Group.

Derek Crawley, Mammal Recorder for Staffordshire, will make a welcome return to present an illustrated talk on the natural history of the mole, a species that we rarely see anything of other than their soil mounds!

The event will be online via Zoom. We will provide you with all the details you need to log into Zoom and to join the webinar once you have registered.

Places to the live talk are limited, however the webinar will be recorded and made available on YouTube afterwards.

This talk has been organised by our volunteer run Local Groups and the speaker is talking for free. Money raised at Local Group events throughout the year supports our work for wildlife, however, with all their events cancelled any donations you can give will make a huge difference. If you can, please donate below.

Find out more about our Local Groups

Our network of Local Groups represent us and the wildlife of Leicestershire and Rutland in their local community. Local Groups organise a wide range of activities throughout the year enabling people to enjoy and find out more about local wildlife and encouraging more support for the Trust. Activities range from guided walks and reserve open days, to slide talks and plant sales.

We have 7 groups across the two counties plus the Leicestershire & Rutland Badger Group. You don't have to be a member to attend - groups are inclusive and open to anyone.
