Go WILD with Leicestershire and Rutland Wildlife Trust

30 Days Wild is The Wildlife Trusts' annual nature challenge where we ask the nation to do one 'wild' thing a day every day throughout June.

Your daily wild activities can be anything you like - you might be having breakfast with the birds on Monday, feeling the grass between your toes on Tuesday, and watching wildlife webcams on Wednesday. There’s no set structure, so you can take part in a way that suits you. Alongside benefiting your local wildlife, taking part in 30 Days Wild is scientifically proven to make you feel happier, healthier, and more connected to nature.

Anyone can take part in 30 Days Wild, we even have resources for schools, care homes and businesses. Sign up today and receive a FREE pack in the post, plus lots of inspiration for activities.

I’m really looking forward to getting involved with 30 Days Wild this summer. I like it because it's open to everyone and we can all benefit by giving just an ounce of effort!

Why take part?

While nature needs us more than ever, the reverse is also true. We’re all part of nature, and it should be a part of our lives.

Over the past five years, we've been working with the University of Derby to find out about the impact that 30 Days Wild has on participants. The results show that people feel happier and healthier after taking part, and for months after too!

Who are the Wildlife Trusts?

The Wildlife Trusts is a grassroots movement, made up of 46 individual Wildlife Trusts operating in every corner of the UK, Alderney and the Isle of Man.

We care for 2,300 incredible wild places, from remote woods and wild rivers to inner city pockets of nature. We also look after the amazing wildlife that lives on our coasts and in our seas.

By taking part in 30 Days Wild, you can help us to achieve our mission of bringing people closer to nature, and land and seas rich in wildlife.
