Volunteer work party at Cloud Wood

When: Friday 17th February 2012, 9:30 a.m.

Where: Cloud Wood Nature Reserve, near Breedon-on-the-hill

Summary: Come and join in the Friday group as they continue their coppicing work at Cloud Wood Nature Reserve.

The Friday group work most Fridays at Cloud Wood nature reserve carrying out a range of practical conservation tasks such as coppicing, preparing stakes and binders, hedge laying and ride widening.

If you like being outdoors, want to help manage this nature reserve for its wildlife and make new friends then please come along.  The group meets at 9.30am and finish around 2.30pm.  You do not need to have any experience of doing this kind of work as you will be shown on the day.  If you're not sure, just come out and give it a try. 

Please bring a packed lunch and drink with you, wear clothes you don't mind getting dirty and wear boots with a good grip.  We will bring gloves and tools.

You need to be over 18 years of age.
