Biological recording: Recorder 6 database (requires some computer skills)

  • Transfer historical paper species records for Trust nature reserves onto the database
  • Input new species records for Trust nature reserves onto the database
  • Import electronic species records for Trust nature reserves and other sites onto the database
  • Checking of inputted records
  • Carry out maintenance tasks on the database

Training will be given in using the Recorder 6 program. Data entry requires relatively little computer knowledge but requires accuracy and attention to detail as does the checking.
