For the past year Trust members Michael and Paula Webster have been visiting conservation projects in Argentina, Chile and Peru. They have delivered conservation talks to dozens of schools and encouraged environmental groups and organisations.
The many conservation volunteers they met are undertaking fantastic work under incredibly hard conditions with little thanks.
One common theme they encountered is a lack of equipment, in particular binoculars. So if you have unused binoculars in good condition then please contact Michael and Paula on 01530 243 565 or bring them to the Leicestershire and Rutland Wildlife Trust office at The Old Mill, 9 Soar Lane, Leicester LE3 5DE.
Michael and Paula work closely with Aves Argentinas, the BirdLife International partner in Argentina that supports this appeal, and will be returning to South America later this year.
