Wildlife Watch Groups

 

We have 2 Wildlife Watch groups – one in Leicester and one based in Rutland.
They are organised by trained volunteer Leaders and Helpers who know about the local wildlife and wild places. Meetings are suitable for children aged 5 - 12. Children under 8 must be accompanied by a parent/carer throughout the activity.

* BOOKING IS ESSENTIAL for all meetings.
No dogs are allowed at Wildlife Watch groups or events.

Local Groups in Leicestershire & Rutland

At present, the groups are either full or have limited places. To be added to the waiting list, please contact  ww@lrwt.org.uk with the group you are interested in and numbers and ages of children.

Attenborough Arboretum Wildlife Watch Group

Attenborough Arboretum Wildlife Watch Group meets at the Attenborough Arboretum in Knighton and regularly visits other sites across Leicestershire.

Meetings are usually on the second Saturday of the month between 10.00am – 12.00pm.

This group is currently full, but please email ww@lrwt.org.uk to be added to the waiting list.

Rutland Water Wildlife Watch Group

Rutland Water Wildlife Watch Group usually meets at locations around Rutland Water Nature Reserve near Oakham.

Meetings are usually on the second Sunday each month from 10.00am – 12.00pm.
