About the event

Learn about the geology and natural history of Charnwood Lodge with Geologist Richard Ellison.

At nearly 200 hectares, this beautiful nature reserve abounds with ancient history, atmosphere and wildlife.  Discover  and explore the prominent 600 million-year-old Precambrian rock outcrops which protrude through the surrounding marl and other Triassic deposits.
