The Leicestershire and Wildlife Trust’s Charnwood Local Group urgently needs new members for its managing committee.
“It’s not an onerous job, but essential for the continued running of the group, which organises talks at Woodhouse Eaves village hall, local walks, open days and other events and raises funds for the Trust throughout the year,” Maggie Morland (Chair) said.
“There are also some ‘perks’ of the job: we enjoy a good range of social events including Christmas walks and lunches (we are not known as ‘The Charnwood Chompers’ for nothing!), canal boat trips and days out to nature reserves further afield.”
If you have some spare time and would like to help, please contact Maggie on 01509 890 077 or email [email protected]
