After an anxious wait for the Rutland Osprey Project team the Manton Bay Ospreys – Maya and 33(11) – have reunited at their nest.
The loved-up pair are now busy nest building - after ejecting a pair of squatters.
Keep up to date on www.ospreys.org.uk where you can watch the live webcam, look at some great photographs by John Wright, watch video footage and read Kayleigh Brookes’ entertaining commentary. Enjoy!
Better still pay us a visit at Rutland Water Nature Reserve. Away from the nest there is still lots going on at both the Lyndon and Egleton areas of the nature reserve.
One of the most exciting ways of seeing the ospreys is to take a guided trip with members of the project aboard the Rutland Belle. If you prefer to remain on terra firma there are plenty of guided walks and other activities to join in. Click the Things to do section of the Rutland Osprey Project website for details.
